any1 have any tips? i just bought a cheap cassette recorder that came with a mic and i'm prolly gunna b screwing around and recording guitar, n drums and vox. the mic it came with is pretty crappy(i'v gotts replace it asap) but its good enuff to pick up guitar fine(electric w/amp and acoustic) and it even gets my drums.

so any1 have any tips? i'm itching to try some crazy crap but right now its like 10 @ nite so i cant play. first thing on the list tomorow is recording in the badthroom =)

I'd go with getting something like a BOSS (i think it's BOSS, anyway) BR-600.

Don't get it with the CD burner, way too big, way too expensive. Good quality, although you'll need more than the space it has on it for more than one good quality song. So you'll have to spend however much on a USB stick to upgrade that, but that's not really too much.
